Cloud Platform Redesign

Sole UX Designer

The company's existing product was a secure platform for capturing, centralizing, and indexing unstructured patient data. It was tied to on-premise infrastructure and had an overly complicated user interface that was outdated: some key features were hard to find, and the navigation was complex. Since cloud infrastructure was becoming the industry standard, leadership wanted to build a modern, cloud-based version.

I kept the core workflow familiar so existing users wouldn't have to relearn the product, while reworking the navigation and surfacing features that had been hidden or hard to find. As the project grew, that same design system extended into specialized versions for different lines of business, including dental claims processing and health information management.

Result: This work was still evolving across several specialized versions as of June 2026.

Document Extraction Tool

Modernized the interface for an acquired document extraction and classification product. Pulled visual elements from the cloud platform redesign to give a more consistent look across the growing product family, while keeping the original workflow structure intact.

Tiled Document Preview

Designed a new tiled view for an internal tool used to manually review documents queued for auto-indexing training, including visible document previews, so the team could review without opening each item individually. Added a toggle so users could switch between the existing list view and the new tiled view.
